As a PhD Scientist, I am passionate about advancing the field of cancer immunotherapy by investigating the cytotoxic properties of engineered immune cells against cancers. I have a PhD in Biological Sciences and Bioengineering from Sabanci University and research experience in molecular biology and immunology with 6 years of post-doc research experience from NSU and Stanford University.
My core competencies include gene therapy, genetic modification of natural killer (NK) cells and T cells, tumor immunology, and preclinical immunotherapy research. I have extensive hands-on experience with CRISPR/Cas9, multi-color flow cytometry, cell culture, and cellular and molecular assays. I have contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications in prestigious journals, and participated in collaborative projects with renowned institutions. I am always eager to learn new skills, explore novel approaches, and share my knowledge with others. I am known for always questioning the facts and challenging my peers to collectively answer the hardest questions in the field. With 15 years of collective research experience, I am confident in generating therapies for the incurable diseases in the near future.
